ABOUT ME

My name is Gabriel. I am a clinical psychologist and an EMDR therapist certified by EMDRIA. I am currently a PhD student in Psychology, with a focus on trauma and attachment.

In my clinical practice, I specialize in working with psychological trauma and its impact on emotional and relational functioning. I work with concerns such as anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress, complex trauma, and difficulties in interpersonal relationships.

My approach integrates the EMDR model with a deep understanding of attachment processes, emotional regulation, and the development of self-esteem. This allows for a therapeutic process that not only alleviates symptoms, but also promotes deeper and more lasting change.

I offer a warm, empathetic, and safe therapeutic space where individuals can explore their personal history, make sense of their experiences, and develop new ways of relating to themselves and others.

As an EMDR therapist, I support my patients in processing distressing or overwhelming experiences that may feel “stuck,” helping to integrate them and reduce their impact on present-day life.

I also have experience working with individuals from the LGBTQ+ community, from an affirmative and non-pathologizing perspective.

I am a co-founder of www.mindbodycollective.org, an interdisciplinary team through which we provide online psychotherapy to individuals in different countries.

I offer therapy in both English and Spanish.
